The relay output block component that is known as the 6248BP10811 output block is designed and manufactured by ABB/Taylor and it has 16 available circuits. The product is part of Series 623/624 and it has normally-open outputs. The outputs of this block are grouped in 4 groups and every group has a common input terminal. Additionally, the circuits of the 6248BP10811 block have LED indicators that give the users quick status updates. The relay output component is compatible with programmable logic controllers from Series 90, Series 6, and Series 5. The compatible CPU sends out 2 bytes of output data with every bus scan and it can be used with an optional hand-held monitor which is capable of echoing the bus scan data.
