Terminal Assembly for 6235BP10910
The 6235BP10930 Terminal Assembly is an ABB TRIO Series product that is designed for the ABB 6235B analog input block. It lets the users perform the field wiring of I/O blocks easily. The 6235BP10930 Terminal Assembly is compatible with the ABB 6235BP10920 electronic assembly and its mechanical keying helps the users to choose the compatible modules to use with it. Its 32 terminals serve 6 input channels of the analog input module for efficient field wiring. The first 4 terminals of the device accept 1 AWG #12 gauge wire or 2 AWG #14 gauge wires. All the other terminals accept the AWG #22 to AWG #14 range of wires. This module is permanently installed in the input module with its compatible electronic assembly.
The 6235BP10930 Terminal Assembly requires a 115 Volts AC or 125 Volts DC power source to provide power to the I/O module. The field bus connectors of the system can be connected to Terminals 1, 2, 3, and 4 of the terminal assembly. The power supply can be connected to Terminal 6 and 7. Terminal 6 is used for AC hot or DC positive connections. Terminal 7 is used for AC neutral or DC negative connections. Terminals 10 through 32 are reserved for field wiring. Terminals 8 and 9 can be used for BSM connections if the I/O devices are configured as bus switching modules. Each input has the Input (IN), Common (COM), Excitation (EXC), and Ground (GND) connections. When installing the 6235BP10930 Terminal Assembly, the operations of the system must be stopped. Before installation, make sure to preconfigure the terminal assembly by connecting to the HHM, assigning the device address, and setting the baud rates.
