The GE Fanuc 6234BP10930 terminal assembly is the terminal assembly for the complete GE Fanuc 6234BP10910 I/O block. The 6234BP10930 terminal assembly connects to a compatible electronics assembly to form the complete I/O block which in turn can be connected to a programmable logic controller or PLC in order to allow the PLC to connect to, control, and communicate with other devices. When the whole I/O block is connected to the bus in the PLC, it is recommended to wire the bus directly into the terminal assembly of the block, like the 6234BP10930 terminal assembly. Note that bus connections to the terminal assembly are usually intended to be permanent and they should never be disconnected or removed while the whole system is operating because this can cause damage and operation errors.

 

The GE Fanuc 6234BP10930 terminal assembly can be used as part of a high-speed counter block that is configurable and that can handle applications such as meter proving, material handling, process control, motion control, turbine flowmeter, and velocity measurement applications. The whole block can operate on AC voltage rated at 115 Volts AC or on DC voltage rated at 10 to 30 Volts DC. Both voltages can be supplied simultaneously, and the DC voltage can be used as backup power if the AC voltage supply fails. Ensure that the power supplies that are used meet all the specifications that the block requires for proper operation. The block and its components, including the 6234BP10930 terminal assembly, can operate at a temperature range of 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
