Electronic Assembly for 6234BP10910
The 6234BP10920 electronic assembly is designed and manufactured by GE Fanuc to be the electronic assembly for the GE Fanuc 6234BP10910 I/O block which is a high-speed counter block. The 6234BP10920 electronic assembly connects to a terminal assembly to form the complete counter block. Some of the I/O blocks from GE Fanuc are available as complete blocks while other GE Fanuc I/O blocks have to be assembled from separately sold electronic assemblies like the 6234BP10920 electronic assembly and terminal assemblies. The 6234BP10920 electronic assembly is part of the Genius I/O series from GE Fanuc. The I/O block that it is part of is a high-speed counter block that is configurable and self-contained and able to process rapid pulse signals rated at up to 200 kilohertz.
The GE Fanuc 6234BP10920 electronic assembly and the whole high-speed counter block that it is a key component of can be used to handle several industrial applications such as motion control, process control, material handling, velocity measurement, meter proving, and turbine flowmeter applications. The electronic assembly and the block can accommodate AC and DC power, and they can accommodate both types at the same time. When both the AC and DC power are connected, the high-speed counter block normally operates with the AC voltage as the main power source and it operates at 115 Volts AC. If the AC source experiences a power failure, then the DC source can be used as backup. The required DC voltage range is 10 to 30 Volts DC.
