Terminal Assembly for 6233BP10910

Technical Information

The 6233BP10930 terminal assembly has been designed and manufactured by GE Fanuc as the terminal assembly for the 6233BP10910 I/O block that is also designed and manufactured by GE Fanuc. The 6233BP10930 terminal assembly is made to connect to a compatible electronic assembly to form a complete RTD or Resistive Temperature Detector input block (the 6233BP10910 input block). The RTD input block monitors the temperature data that it receives from the RTD devices. This input block has 6 input circuits that are divided up into 3 pairs. The group to group isolation rating for this block is 300 volts, and each of the 6 inputs can work with nickel, copper, or platinum RTDs.

The GE Fanuc 6233BP10930 terminal assembly and the whole GE Fanuc 6233BP10910 RTD input block are compatible with the GE QBIM modules and PCIM modules. The RTD block and its components are pre-calibrated at the factory, and it is not necessary for the operators to re-calibrate them during the installation process. The RTD block has several programmable features which include the RTD resistance rating, the linearization, the alarm thresholds, the input filter time, and the alphatype settings. It also has multiple diagnostics that can detect different installation and operating errors such as high and low input levels, input shorts, internal faults, wiring errors, open wires, and overrange and underrange situations. The RTD input block and its components, including the 6233BP10930 terminal assembly, can operate at temperatures of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and they can be stored at temperatures of -40 to 100 degrees Celsius.
