The 6233BP10830 input block terminal assembly has been designed and manufactured by GE Fanuc for a variety of industrial applications. It is made to be a major component in a complete input block that comes with 6 inputs that are compatible with RTDs and that are arranged into 3 isolated pairs. The whole input block is composed of the 6233BP10830 terminal assembly and a compatible electronic assembly that contains most of the electronic parts. The complete block weighs 1.8 kilograms or 4 pounds and its dimensions are 22.44 x 8.89 x 10 centimeters or 8.83 x 3.5 x 3.94 inches. It dissipates 7 Watts of maximum heat when it operates and it comes with 2 LEDs that are the “Unit OK” LED and the “I/O Enabled” LED. The “Unit OK” LED lets the users know if the unit is operating properly and the “I/O Enabled” LED indicates which of the I/O points are in use.

 

The GE Fanuc 6233BP10830 terminal assembly is rated for an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius or 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit, a storage temperature range of -40 to 100 degrees Celsius or -40 to 212 degrees Fahrenheit, and a relative ambient humidity level of 5 to 95% (non-condensing) for both operation and storage. The RTD input block and its components, including the 6233BP10830 terminal assembly, support both block to block isolation and group to group isolation. The block to block isolation rating is 1500 Volts and the group to group isolation rating is 300 Volts.
