Block 24/48Vdc Analog 4 Inputs / 2 Outputs 6 points

Technical Information

The 6230BP10810 Analog I/O Block is a 4-input and 2-output standard TRIO analog I/O block that is manufactured by GE Fanuc. It uses a 24 Volts DC or 48 Volts DC rated power supply to operate. The inputs of the analog I/O block are numbered as inputs 1 through 4 and the remaining 2 terminals are the outputs, which are numbered as outputs 1 and 2. The 6230BP10810 Analog I/O Block has 2.2 megaohms of insulation resistance and 1500 Volts of block to block isolation. The characteristics of the input channels include 12 bits of input resolution, 4 milliseconds of input update frequency, and input diagnostics functions.

The 6230BP10810 Analog I/O Block has 5 operating ranges for the input channels which are 0 to 10 Volts DC, -10 to 10 Volts DC, -5 to +5 Volts DC, 0 to 5 Volts DC, and 1 to 5 Volts DC. It has an analog to digital converter which is shared by the inputs. The analog to digital converter has the responsibility to convert input voltage values into the range of -4095 to +4095. This block also has input filters for filtering the analog voltage before sending it to the analog to digital converter. The LED indicators of the module, which are the “Unit OK” and “I/O Enabled” LEDs, indicate the visible status of the devices. The 6230BP10810 Analog I/O Block has 6 Watts of rated heat dissipation. It can provide the inputs and outputs in engineering units and the 16-bit two's-complement format. The input and output values can be displayed as a whole integer value by using a compatible handheld monitor.
