Technical Information

Manufactured by Horner Electric, the HE693THM880 module is a GE Series 90-30 thermocouple analog input module. This input module has a range of useful features including a cold junction compensation capacity of +/-25 degrees Celsius at +25 degrees Celsius or +/-1.0 at -40 to 85 degrees Celsius, and high-high, high-low, and low-low downscale alarm scale sets for opened output responses. The device is compliant with the CE standards for harsh industrial environments because of its RF performance level and it supports a bandwidth of 3 Hertz at 3 dB. Whenever only a single channel needs to be adjusted, this device provides a useful additional feature for channel to channel and channel to bus connections. The voltage is rated at +/-3 Volts peak and 1500 Volts rms for 1 minute for the channel to bus connection. The device measures 4.51 x 0.6 x 3.26 inches (114.6 x 15.3 x 82.8 millimeters) in length, width, and height, respectively, while the peak to peak dimensional scanning rate is 200 Ch/s.

 

The hardware low filtering functionality for the Horner HE693THM880 thermocouple analog input module comes with a rejection rating of 60 Hertz of 50-line frequency per channel to optimize the process flow and failsafe operation. If the users need to enable default selective scanning, this device makes this easy with a robust input to bus selection and multiple protection options for each channel at up to 150 Volts rms of continuous overload between the ranges and up to 2 percent of the specified input values. The HE693THM880 thermocouple analog input module has a high level of immunity to noise and other extremely hazardous industrial environmental contaminants and it has differential input channels.
