The HE693THM400 module is a logic communication module made by GE Fanuc/Horner Electrical and it is a Series 90-30/90-70 communication module. It has been designed to enhance and complete all compatible industrial applications. Its primary purpose is to establish a communication between 2 devices. It can even be used jointly with the controller's message modules and remote I/O. Ideally, it utilizes the local area network and the IP address for local area network bridging. The HE693THM400 module can support up to 12 Mbps of maximum communication rate once it is connected to the RJ45 ports. The host system has several RJ45 ports and one USB port. Depending on the user's preferences, they can use shielded or unshielded cables. The HE693THM400 logic module enhances the DLR topologies in an industrial system with a tool level ring. It includes 256 CIP and 128 transmission control protocol connections.

 

The HE693THM400 module features a power dissipation capability of 1 Watt and it may draw a current of 1 Amp at 5 Volts and with 30 Volts of isolation voltage. It can handle a temperature range between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius with a maximum ambient air temperature of 60 degrees Celsius, and it can tolerate an ambient non-condensing humidity range between 5 and 95%. This module accommodates chassis installation and DC power. It can be mounted vertically in a protective enclosure if there is enough clearance around it to allow for air cooling. It is possible to change the enclosure type for the different layouts that the HE693THM400 module can be installed in.
