The HE670ACC100 module is an industrial 8-input simulator module for controlling electrical systems in industrial automation devices, including operator interfaces, PLCs, and AC drivers. This module is manufactured by Horner Electric as part of the GE Fanuc Horner product line. It comes with 8 toggle switches that simulate input devices. It comes with 9 LED indicators that include 8 green logic indicators and one power indicator. It also has Form A (SPST) relays with 4 isolated commons, and one relay has a high current rating of about 10 Amps per point, while the other supports a voltage range of 6 to 27 Volts DC or 6 to 240 Volts AC. It has an HS3-304 enclosure that provides noise immunity, an impulse voltage rating of 1000 Volts at a 1-millisecond pulse, and solid-state input sensors that sink current from the PLC input points.
The HE670ACC100 simulator module has low pass filter characteristics of -3dB at 60 Hertz and 16-bit, Unsigned Integer, 0–FFFF (binary) or 0–65535 (BCD) features which aid in the attenuation of signals that are rated below the cutoff frequency. It allows for the testing of more than 10M Ohms at 500 Volts DC of head and body resistance that is due to the insulation resistance. There is a removable terminal block that is used for field wiring and an adjustable jumper that can be selected in the range of 0 to 5 Volts DC or 0 to 10 Volts DC on the input, and this functionality makes it possible to sustain +/-100 Volts of maximum continuous load. Analog input can be utilized with the 4 PID loops in the HE670ACC100 module with the onboard RISC-like microcontroller and analog filter when the module is in a noisy environment to maintain precise analog measurement.
