Product Description

The IC200ALG328 is a 12-channel, 13-bit current analog output module designed for the GE Fanuc Versamax Series
. The IC200ALG328 has a default output range, but with a jumper, the output range can be changed easily. All outputs require an external power supply, and the CPU or Network Interface Unit will perform intelligent processing for the IC200ALG328 module.

The IC200ALG328 module’s outputs can easily hold their last states or default with a jumper if backplane power or communications are interrupted or the PLC has stopped. The backplane must send different output data to the module, or the outputs will remain in default or the previous state. When in a 0-20mA range mode, the current output signal value of 0mA matches to a %AQ value of 0 counts, and 20mA corresponds to a %AQ value of +32,000 counts. If in 4-20mA range mode, a value of 0 %AQ counts corresponds to an output current of 4mA and a value of +32,000 %AQ counts corresponds to an output current of 20mA. If the IC200ALG328 is put into PLC rack, the negative value is adapted and commanded to 0mA no matter the range selected.

There is a thermal derating for the IC200ALG328 module. The ambient temperature, external voltage, and orientation of the module and DIN rail are key factors when determining the number of channels that can be active at the same time. There is no thermal derating for the IC200ALG328 module at 24V.
