The IC200UDR040 module is a power supply module that is meant to operate with a 40-point micro programmable logic controller or PLC that comes from the Versamax Micro PLC series that is manufactured by GE Fanuc Automation. This controller provides 24 Volts DC nominal input power for all the operations that are related to the PLC, and it comes with 24 DC inputs that are fully configurable and that can be used in either positive or negative logic setups. Each of these inputs can be used as a regular input and as a high-speed counter input. The compatibility of the GE Fanuc Automation IC200UDR040 power supply module with other devices depends on the way it is used and on the modality that it is used in. For example, when used as a standard input module, it can be easily paired with pushbuttons, electronic proximity switches, and other similar kinds of compatible equipment.

 

The GE Fanuc Automation IC200UDR040 power supply module comes with high-speed counters and it requires a power supply of 135 milliamps so that the inputs and user devices can both operate properly. The power supply range for this module goes from 19.2 to 30 Volts DC and it has a frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz. The GE Fanuc Automation IC200UDR040 power supply module has count registers of 16 to 32 bits. It is recommended to follow the wiring diagram in the manual to ensure that the module will operate properly. It is also recommended to have a qualified technician perform this installation so that the errors can be minimized and so that the applications will run as smoothly as possible without the need to stop periodically.
