Technical Information

The IC200UDD020 PLC module is a Versamax 20-point Micro/Micro Plus PLC module that is made by GE Fanuc. It comes with 12 DC inputs, 4 ESCP outputs, and 4 low-current outputs. It uses a 24 Volts DC power supply to power up the input circuits and for normal operation. The IC200UDD020 PLC module consumes 8 milliamps of current per point. The specifications of the DC power supply include 19.2 to 30 Volts DC of operating voltage range, 10 milliseconds of hold up time at 19.2 Volts DC, 1 Amp of inrush current at 30 Volts DC, and 0.2 Amps of input current at 24 Volts DC. Its I/O points can be expanded by using the compatible expander module that best suits the users’ needs.   

 

The IC200UDD020 VersaMax 20-point Micro/Micro Plus PLC provides electronic short circuit protections with its low-current outputs. It supports 2 programming instruction types, which are the ladder diagram and instruction list formats. The system firmware and user programs are stored in the non-volatile flash memory of the PLC module. The inputs of the module provide discrete input filtering while compensating for the switch bounce. The IC200UDD020 PLC module also offers simple hardware R/C filters for the inputs in addition to the discrete input filters. It offers basic motion control functions such as jogging, blended move, stop motion, and homing functions. The high-speed counter outputs can be configured to perform the motion functions. This PLC module can be mounted on a 35-millimeter DIN rail. Make sure that the DIN rail is electrically grounded to provide EMC protection. The unit can also be mounted on a metal panel to reduce mechanical vibration and shock.
