Technical Information

The IC610CPU105 CPU is a Series One central processing unit that has been designed and manufactured by GE Fanuc Automation. This CPU is meant to process all the instructions that are given by the users. These instructions need to pass through a scan from the program that is installed and that is going to oversee the right actions to take to fulfill these instructions. This CPU has been designed to be used with the Plus controllers from the same series. It supports operations with 168 I/O points. The GE Fanuc Automation IC610CPU105 Series One central processing unit has a memory capacity of 700 words and 2 EEPROM non-volatile storage units. This memory can be expanded to 1724 words. The CPU also comes with a scanning program that has a duration of 8 milliseconds.

 

The GE Fanuc Automation IC610CPU105 Series One central processing unit comes with a battery for back-up and internal functions that cover non-retentive functions, retentive functions, special functions, and timer functions. The CPU also enables the controller it is part of to be interfaced with up to 3 thumbwheel interface modules. The GE Fanuc Automation IC610CPU105 Series One central processing unit comes with a data communications unit known as the CCM105 communications unit and an RS-232/422 adapter unit. It can also be connected to peripheral devices and different input and output devices by using different I/O modules that are included in the same series. This CPU can be used at a voltage of 115 to 230 Volts AC. Other features that come with the CPU are shift registers, timers and counters, sequencers, and data registers functions. The high-speed counter that can be used needs to be connected through an I/O module.
