The IC610CPU104 CPU is a Series One Model E central processing unit that has been designed and manufactured by GE Fanuc Automation. This CPU is designed by GE Fanuc Automation to be used with GE Series One Model E programmable logic controllers or PLCs. The Model E controller CPUs provide a standard memory of 700 words that can be fully expanded to 1724 words. This CPU also comes with an EPROM nonvolatile storage memory and a typical scan program that takes up to 8 milliseconds. When it comes to external functions, the GE Fanuc Automation IC610CPU104 Series One Model E central processing unit comes with non-retentive coils, retentive coils, special function coils, and timers and counters.
The GE Fanuc Automation IC610CPU104 Series One Model E central processing unit can be attached to an I/O module rated at up to 10 Kilohertz and it can also be used with discrete and analog I/O modules. This CPU supports up to 96 remote system I/O. It also supports the basic ladder diagram functions and data operations, including math functions. The GE Fanuc Automation IC610CPU104 Series One Model E central processing unit is included in the hand-held programming mounting assembly, meaning that it can be mounted on a structure that provides further protection to both the CPU and the whole PLC so these can operate in a proper environment. Remote I/O devices attached to the CPU can be located up to 1 kilometer away from the CPU and they need to be connected through twisted-pair cables to an I/O local link module and a remote link module.
