The IC610CPU101 central processing unit is a GE Fanuc Series One central processing unit (CPU) that can be used with the Series One, Model E, Plus, and Plus 3.7K controllers or PLCs from the same series. This central processing unit has been manufactured and designed by GE Fanuc Automation. This CPU has a memory of 700 words that can be expanded to up to 1724 words. It also includes an EPROM unit, non-volatile storage, and a battery back-up for the memory with an approximate life of 2 to 5 years when operating. The GE Fanuc Automation IC610CPU101 Series One central processing unit has a typical scan rating of 0.5K programs depending on the controller and the other components that are included in it.

 

The GE Fanuc Automation IC610CPU101 Series One central processing unit receives instructions and according to the program that is installed and it sends commands to the PLC and the connected devices to perform specific tasks. Some of the applications that can be executed by this CPU and the whole PLC are data and shift register, sequencers, timers and counters, retentive coils, and special function coil applications. The GE Fanuc Automation IC610CPU101 Series One central processing unit is meant to be installed with the PLC and both can be mounted on a rack. The environment cannot be hotter than 60 degrees Celsius during operation and the humidity level must remain between 5 and 95 percent without condensation This CPU has a voltage rating of 115 to 230 Volts AC and a frequency of 47 to 63 Hertz. The maximum load supported by this environment is 30 Volts. It is recommended to pair this CPU with the programmer mounting assembly that is available in the same catalog to provide further protection to all the parts.
