Technical Information

The Pcb601 board is a DVT breakout board manufactured by Cognex Vision. It helps to connect digital I/O, power, and illumination lines to isolation modules in a system. It is powered with a 24 Volts rated power supply that is wall-mounted and it has a current rating of 1.2 Amps. The breakout board is made out of metal and plastic. It has a sturdy design and it can be mounted easily by using a DIN rail mounting base. The top part of the board is powder-coated. It has a small form factor with dimensions of 125 millimeters in width, 149 millimeters in height, and 45 millimeters in depth. The Pcb601 board has 2 main ports. The right port of the board has the I/O, the strobe, and the power terminal. The I/O lines are used without isolation. The left port is equipped with the I/O connections that are used with the isolation modules. The board has 3 different power terminals that are the Positive, GND, and Shield terminals for the industrial power supply.

The Cognex Vision Pcb601 DVT breakout board has LED indicators on it that illuminate to alert the users about different events. A 15-pin high-density D-sub connector is present on the board. A trigger button sits next to the connector on the top part of the breakout board. The Cognex Vision Pcb601 DVT breakout board is connected with the I01 unit and it will trigger an inspection if it is connected with the trigger input in the Framework software. The strobe terminals are located on the board. These terminals are activated during the image exposure time if the IO12 unit is configured in the Framework software.
