Technical Information

The idra-6 light is a smart light manufactured by Cognex. This DVT series light is powered with a 24 Volts power supply. A 5 pin female connector is present in the lightbox for connection. The front bottom section has LED indicators that show the flow of power and the lighting status of the smart light. The illumination comes from a ray of light that is powered by the external power supply. The idra-6 smart light is compatible with the Cognex DVT image sensor and camera devices. The image sensor and camera are used to automate different application processes including measurement taking, code reading, and detecting faults in an industrial setting. The smart lightbox can be easily mounted by using the 4 threaded M4 holes located on the bottom of the box. The smart light box has a connector pinout that is white for NC contacts, blue for ground, and black for a signal. The light can be used for outdoor applications.

 

The Cognex idra-6 smart light is light weight and it comes in a compact size. It weighs around 4.4 pounds. This smart light is used as an additional lighting module that requires an external power source. The light can handle lighting issues during the process. The light box has an LED indicator that illuminates when the power flow is present. Because the light box can be used as an outdoor unit, it comes with an IP protection rating for water resistance. The idra-6 smart light produces bright light and it works as a light for both color and grayscale industrial sensors. The ambient temperature around the device should be maintained between 0 and 45 degrees Celsius.
