The Allen-Bradley 1746-P7 is a power supply compatible with SLC 500 systems. A power supply is essential for your system to support a processor and I/O modules. The maximum inrush current is 20A, which is required for turn-on. The internal current capacity for the 1746-P7 at 12V DC input is 2.0A at 5V DC and 0.46A at 24V DC. The internal current capacity for the 24V DC input is 3.6A at 5V DC and 0.87A at 24V DC. For protection, the fuse is soldered into place on the unit. Additionally, the power supply features an LED indicator to determine when everything is functioning appropriately.
The 1746-P7 is designed for industrial environments. The operating temperature for the unit should range between 0-60 degrees Celsius (32-140 degrees Fahrenheit) with relative humidity between 5-95% non-condensing. The current capacity for the 1746-P7 is derated by 5% about 55 degrees Celsius.
