The Allen-Bradley 1756-IG16 is a digital input module with 16 inputs accommodated in 2 groups of 8. The input module operates at a voltage of between 4.5 and 5.5 Volts DC. The 1756-IG16 accepts connections through the 1756-TBSH and the 1756-TBNH adjustable terminal blocks. The 1756-IG16 features 5 Volts DC TTL source voltage which recognizes a low voltage as a true voltage. At a voltage of 5.1 Volts, the digital input module has a current rating of 110 mA. The 1756-IG16 digital input module has a power dissipation rating of 1.4 watts at a temperature of 60 degrees Celsius, a thermal dissipation rating of 4.8 BTU per hour at 60 degrees Celsius, and a maximum input impedance of 1.5 kiloohms. Additionally, the 1756-IG16 has a 2 Volts maximum off-state voltage, 4.1 mA off-state current, and a maximum input current of 4.1 mA at 5 Volts DC.
